Electrolux taps former Samsung exec as CMO

Electrolux Group has hired Nikos Bartzoulianos, former Samsung exec, as group chief marketing officer.

I look forward to working with colleagues across the company to unlock the full potential of Electrolux’s Group’s exceptional offerings and further enhance brand desirability,” said Bartzoulianos, in a statement.

In his new role, which begins on August 23, Bartzoulianos, will report to the appliance brand’s European CEO Anna Ohlsson-Leijon.

“I look forward to working with Nikos as part of the BA EA Leadership Team. With his strong background, he will add value and new insights to our business, leveraging the power and opportunities we have with our brands and all the important launches ahead of us. I’m also convinced that he will, together with his team, continue to amplify our position as a sustainability leader in the industry,” said Ohlsson-Leijon, in a statement.

Prior to joining Electrolux, Bartzoulianos spent more than nine years in senior leadership roles at Samsung, where he was responsible for leading go-to-market operations and transforming digital brand operations globally. Bartzoulianos has also held senior roles at Procter & Gamble and McKinsey & Company.
