CBS Sports reported that this year’s Super Bowl, between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, was the most watched telecast in history with 123.4 million viewers across platforms, up 7% over last year’s record.
The platforms include: CBS Television Network, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Univision, CBS Sports, Univision and NFL digital properties, including NFL+.
The Super Bowl marked the end of a successful season for the NFL on CBS, which was the most watched season since the NFL returned to CBS in 1998.
This year’s game was also the most-streamed Super Bowl in history on Paramount+, according to CBS.
