- Uber Eats is celebrating the launch of a new musical era with limited-time pop-up partnerships with Best Friends Animal Society.
- The “Uber Showcats” pop-ups in New York City, Los Angeles and Nashville will be bedazzled in orange glitter and feature several cats to cuddle or adopt (per the singer’s preferred pet). Fans will also have an opportunity to create custom charm jewelry, snap photos in a custom photo booth and take away other swag.
- To further the celebration and connection, Uber is also offering a 12% discount on orange items (from snacks to beauty items) ordered through its Uber Eats app and a special “orange era essential collection” within its interface. The company is also offering 12% off Uber Comfort rides on the evening of Oct. 2, using the code SHOWBIZ.

The whimsical activations are a way for the brand to “spark connection, delight and celebration” among Uber’s consumers, many of whom are also fans, while also tapping into the culture, said Georgie Jeffreys, head of marketing at Uber and Uber Eats, US & Canada.
“We know many of our users are Swifties and will be celebrating the album release all weekend long, so we’re tapping into that excitement and using our platform to help fans enjoy the moment effortlessly,” Jeffreys said. “Partnering with Best Friends lets us bring a little extra joy to fans this weekend – all while helping these cats find a loving new home.”
