Uber drops latest spots in its global ‘On Our Way’ effort

  • Uber has launched the latest iteration of its global brand campaign ‘On Our Way’ is back with new spots.
  • The campaign first debuted during the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics last summer. The latest version brings relatable moments to highlight the brand’s message that Uber will show up for consumers so they can show up in their lives.
  • The 60-second spot will air across film, OOH and social.

Uber used the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics as the launchpad for its global campaign and the campaign is now rolling out its second iteration in time for fall sports. The brand continues to push the importance of showing up.

“When we first launched this campaign last summer during the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics, we found that the simple act of someone showing up was a feeling that resonated deeply across audiences – it’s a universal human experience,” said David Hennessy, executive creative director, international at Uber. “As society continues to battle loneliness and isolation, there’s no better time to launch a campaign focused on showing up for others.”

“In our second chapter of ‘On our way’, we set out to highlight how Uber helps to overcome the obstacles and excuses that can get in the way of showing up for the people and things that matter most,” he continued. “We set out to portray relatable and familiar moments to drive home the message that Uber will show up for you, so you in turn can show up for those who matter the most.”
