- Summit Hill Foods, manufacturer of brands including Better than Bouillon, The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce and Better than Gravy, has named former Post and General Mills marketing executive Kyle Peterson as its new chief marketing officer, according to a published report.
- Peterson will oversee the company’s marketing, advertising, and digital strategies and help devise other tactics to drive increased brand awareness and revenue growth.
- In addition to his time at Post and General Mills, Peterson has held marketing positions at InnovAsian, a frozen global cuisine brand, and organic and natural food company SunOpta.
Over his 20-plus year career, Peterson has led new business development teams at Post Consumer Brands to drive growth in under-developed channels (including food service, e-commerce, and natural/organic categories); worked across supply chain optimization, strategic growth and marketing for General Mills and, most recently, led corporate marketing initiatives and growth strategies for InnovAsian.

In addition to its consumer-facing portfolio, Summit Hill is also an ingredient supplier for food service distributors, manufacturers, and restaurants.
