Tyler Rutstein is a global marketing and merchandising executive known for driving brand impact and commercial growth through creative, culturally resonant marketing. As Senior Vice President of Brand & Americas Marketing at Under Armour, Rutstein leads global brand marketing and oversees all regional marketing efforts across the Americas, shaping a unified brand narrative and elevating Under Armour’s position across markets worldwide.

Before joining Under Armour, Rutstein served as Chief Brand Officer & Head of Commerce at Overtime, overseeing brand, consumer marketing, creative and design, licensing, consumer products, apparel, and commerce for the company and its sports leagues, including OTE, OT7, and OT Select. During his leadership, Overtime was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Innovative Companies (2024).

Rutstein brings deep experience in high-expectation, fast-moving environments, with expertise spanning digital marketing, brand strategy, product strategy, and go-to-market execution. His two years based in Europe—focused on six global key cities—sharpened his understanding of international markets and cultural nuance, a period he often calls his “real-world MBA.” He operates at the intersection of sport, fashion, and youth culture, applying a builder’s mindset to create work that connects brands with consumers.

Rutstein teaches “Sports Branding” each spring at the University of Florida and serves on the Board of Envision, a purpose-driven American manufacturing nonprofit whose workforce is primarily blind or visually impaired. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida.
