Tom Voltin is the Regional Director of Stores for Bloomingdale’s, overseeing the West Coast and Hawaii markets. With a career spanning decades in luxury retail, Tom previously held leadership roles at Saks Fifth Avenue, where he managed flagship locations including Saks Beverly Hills before ultimately serving as the company’s Regional Director of Stores.
Beginning his career as a seller, Tom has remained deeply connected to the customer experience throughout his professional journey. His leadership philosophy has consistently centered on understanding customer behavior, anticipating evolving expectations, and creating service-driven retail environments that build lasting loyalty.
A graduate of The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, Tom grew up in Texas before relocating to California shortly after college. He has long been inspired by California’s diverse, entrepreneurial, and dynamic business landscape.
Beyond retail, Tom has been actively involved in civic and philanthropic work. He served two terms on the California Travel and Tourism Commission and has been closely involved with the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a Los Angeles affiliate of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
Tom has been married for 40 years to his wife, Jenni, a native Californian born in Hollywood. Together they have three adult children, all of whom live in the Los Angeles area. Today, Tom is especially enjoying one of his newest and most meaningful roles — being a grand dad. 😊
