Sophia is the Director of Marketplace Intelligence at Paramount Advertising. She brings her deep expertise in brand strategy and consumer research to help clients stay sharp on all things category, consumer, and cultural insight.
Sophia came to Paramount from Google where she used data to identify big shifts in human behavior and help marketers adapt accordingly. Prior to Google, she led a rebrand of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina to be more approachable amidst changing market and consumer expectations. However, it was at BBMG, a social impact-focused branding agency, where she launched her career and fell in love with the power of insights; helping brands like L’Oreal, The North Face, Target, and ASPCA launch mission-driven products and campaigns, with consumer needs at the center.
When she’s not hiking with her husband and two dogs, her best days at work are spent pulling real-world inspiration, finding the story across data sources, and using research to challenge the status quo.
