Sasha Alavian Read is the Senior Strategist for Brand Purpose at Danone North America, where she guides the brand strategies for a $7B portfolio of over a dozen beloved household CPG brands. With a master’s degree in environmental policy from Sciences Po in Paris, she brings a global lens to the intersection of brand building, purpose, and B Corp values.
Her work sits at the heart of values-led brand transformation: from safeguarding the hopeful, family-focused emotional IP during a billion-dollar divestiture, to evoking childlike wonder in the restage of a $500M children’s brand, to infusing humanity and a love for California’s far-out history into the acquisition of a cult-classic plant-based business. Sasha is known as a warm, thoughtful leader who helps teams navigate complexity with clarity and conviction.
Beyond the workplace, she is a member of Ladies Who Strategize, and has served on the B Local NYC board and on boards focused on environmental conservation and historic preservation in the Adirondacks, reflecting her deep commitment to sustainability and community impact.
