Sarah Collinson - Brand Innovators

Sarah Collinson

CEO, Havas New York, Havas Creative Network

Sarah joined Havas New York as CEO in October 2023. Since then she has been instrumental in driving growth and excellence across key clients including NewYork-Presbyterian, Reckitt, JBL Harman Kardon, and Danone. Partnering closely with CCO and Co-CEO Dan Lucey she champions creativity across the organization and we’re already seeing the results. Our Superbowl campaign for Silk drove over 12 billion impressions and our pro-bono campaign for the harris project was recognized at The Andys, The One Screen Short Film Festival, The Anthem Awards, and shortlisted for three British Arrows. It was also recognized by Ad Age as one of the 40 Best Ads of 2023.

One of her superpowers is people, and in her short tenure, she has decisively instituted new operational structures across the agency, kicked off involved mentorship programs, and designed a career-path-planning program for every employee to foster learning and growth. She has also rev’d our culture up to 11 (come and join a monthly dinner party and you’ll see what we mean!) Before Havas, she was Managing Director at JOAN Creative for 6 years. She was the first account hire and under her watch the independent creative shop grew from an exciting breakthrough to a formidable, global challenger with marquee clients, iconic creative, and diverse business units. They won Small Agency of the Year 2022 (shortlisted 2023) as well as numerous strategic and creative awards, also launching their London office and media offering.

Before JOAN, Sarah was a Global Business Director at Anomaly New York running Diageo globally and leading the team that built the health & wellness cannabis brand Dosist. Previously, she ran accounts at Adam&EveDDB London, including John Lewis, that won numerous awards including the IPA Grand Prix for Effectiveness.

As an empowered working mother, she focuses on creating an unapologetically inclusive culture. She has a personal mantra to Lead with Joy and that comes through to those she works with every day.
