Renata Ribeiro is a global, multicultural executive with extensive experience spanning global operations, business development, guest experience, innovation, corporate strategy, international expansion, P&L management. She brings over 17 years of leadership experience in the travel and tourism industry with Carnival Corporation, complemented by 10 years in management consulting with Boston Consulting Group and Strategy&.
At Carnival Corporation, Renata serves as a senior leader in Strategic Operations, where she oversees Global Ports and Destinations. In this role, she develops and manages a portfolio of seven Caribbean destinations that collectively welcome more than nine million guests annually. She is also responsible for developing new destination opportunities and leading negotiations for corporate port agreements.
Previously, Renata held the role of Senior Vice President of Guest Commerce at Carnival Cruise Line, where she led onboard revenue businesses serving approximately ten million guests annually. She also spent over six years as Vice President of Fleet Deployment and Demand Strategy, driving strategic initiatives to optimize fleet positioning and demand planning.
In addition to her executive responsibilities, Renata serves as a Board Member for Sunbelt Rentals (NYSE: SUNB), a high-growth equipment rental company with operations across the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. She is also a member of the Compensation Committee.
Renata holds an MBA from the Wake Forest University School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil.
