Oliver Walker-Jones leads Communications, Marketing and Brand at Joby, the California-based, NYSE-listed company developing electric air taxis. Partnering with companies including Toyota, Delta Air Lines and Uber, Joby is working to make aerial mobility part of everyday life and has recently completed demonstration flights in San Francisco and New York.
As Joby’s first marketing leader, Oliver has helped guide the company’s evolution from stealth startup to a 2,500-person business approaching commercial launch.
Previously, Oliver held global communications and marketing roles at Lilium and Rolls-Royce. He graduated from the University of Cambridge and began his career in political campaigning on both sides of the Atlantic before joining Blackstone and later Walmart.
