Liz Armistead is a brand and marketing leader operating at the intersection of technology and culture. She is currently Head of Brand Marketing at Dropbox, where she leads global advertising, partnerships, social, and events, and is helping shape the company’s AI-era brand as a returning boomerang leader.

Liz first joined Dropbox in 2013 through the acquisition of Mailbox, spending several years helping build the brand as the company scaled into a multi-billion-dollar business now serving more than 700 million users worldwide. After a four-year hiatus, she returned to Dropbox following senior brand leadership roles at Kraken and Aura, bringing expanded perspective across new industries and audiences. During her Dropbox tenure, she has launched campaigns and partnerships with cultural leaders including Sundance, Solange, McLaren Racing, and future classic.

Most recently, Liz served as VP of Brand at Kraken, where she built the company’s first Brand team and led efforts to grow awareness of the crypto exchange across the U.S. and Europe. Her work there focused on creative campaigns and culture-led partnerships spanning motorsports, European football, and pop culture.

Earlier in her career, Liz worked at design consultancy IDEO. Today, she also advises early-stage companies on brand building and go-to-market strategy.
