Kelly Andresen is President of USA TODAY, National Sales, leading Gannett’s national sales division, inclusive of the USA TODAY Network, Gannett’s portfolio of over 250+ local and national sites. In this role, Andresen also oversees Gannett’s national revenue operations, with a mix of retail marketing, branded content, and programmatic advertising.  In addition, she heads up Gannett’s Sports Media Group sales and strategy division.

Previously, Andresen served as President, Sales Development leading the pre-sales operations of Gannett’s multi-billion-dollar advertising business.  In this role, she oversaw several areas of the B2B business including USA TODAY Network’s nationwide branded content and custom creative studio, GET Creative, Sales Operations, Learning & Development, Data Insights, Sales product strategy and packaging, B2B Communications, and corporate strategic partnerships with PGA TOUR and sports betting partners.  She has 20 years of experience in advertising marketing and is responsible for creating multimedia solutions in partnership with local and national advertisers.  Prior to becoming President, Andresen held several roles across the division overseeing B2B Marketing & Events, Ad Innovation, National Sales Strategy and is credited with launching the company’s award-winning branded content and creative studio, GET Creative. Prior to joining Gannett in 2015, she was Director of WP BrandStudio & Planning for The Washington Post, leading two teams dedicated to creating new advertising revenue across print, desktop, video, mobile and social through branded content and programmatic ad solutions.

Additionally, Andresen developed innovative advertising sponsorship opportunities at SiriusXM on key premium channels including the launch of Oprah Radio, Martha Stewart Living Radio, NASCAR, MLB, PGA TOUR and Howard Stern.

Andresen received an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at The University of Maryland and is a graduate of Goucher College in Maryland.
