Kate Ruda is a marketing executive known for building culturally relevant brands at the intersection of fitness, fashion, and community.
She currently leads marketing at Blenders Eyewear, where she oversees brand, creative, and social marketing. In her role, Kate is focused on evolving the brand’s voice, strengthening cultural relevance, and partnering closely with e-commerce and product teams to drive both emotional connection and commercial performance.
Prior to Blenders, Kate spent more than a decade at Nike across Digital and Brand Marketing. Most recently, she helped launch the Nike Fitness category globally and led go-to-market strategies for Nike Women in North America, developing campaigns and community-driven initiatives that connected the brand to women through content, culture, and commerce.
Beyond her corporate work, Kate is a passionate community builder and founder. In 2016, she launched Brunch x Burn, a nonprofit “sweat for a cause” initiative that raised more than $100,000 for charity. She is also the founder of Flow Pilates Club, a growing wellness community that hosts beach Pilates experiences across Los Angeles and Orange County, bringing together fitness, lifestyle, and community.
Kate is a Forbes Under 30 honoree and board member. Her perspective on modern brand-building has been featured in Vogue magazine and recognized by Adweek’s CMO Executive Mentor Program, where she has mentored emerging marketing leaders.
