Jim Squires is Reddit’s Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing the strategy and expansion behind Reddit’s consumer and business marketing efforts. Previously, Jim was at Meta, where he served as VP of Business & Media for Instagram and led the product marketing teams for both Facebook and Instagram. Before Meta, Jim led product development at Mixercast, Ning, and Yahoo. He originally joined Yahoo in 1999 with the acquisition of Broadcast.com, one of the first streaming media companies. Jim holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Texas Christian University. He lives in San Francisco with his wonderful wife, Gen Z kids, and dog Roxie.
