Eden Zeilo is the Director of Marketing for Sienna Naturals. She oversees brand marketing, retailer marketing, and product innovation. Sienna Naturals is the only clean, dermatologist-tested hair care brand in the market for textured hair, and is co-founded by Issa Rae and Hannah Diop. Eden has an extensive career in global brand marketing for black-owned and black-founded beauty brands. Eden was the former VP of Global Integrated Marketing at Black Opal Beauty where she oversaw marketing across both the BLK/OPL and Fashion Fair beauty brands. Prior to that, Eden served as the Director of Brand Marketing & Strategy at Unilever working on Sundial Brands, focused on the SheaMoisture and newly launched MADAM by Madam C.J. Walker brands. Eden managed the SheaMoisture & MADAM brands domestically and worked on brand strategy & brand marketing campaigns including media, social, digital, creative, PR, and retail. Eden also previously managed sales and marketing for the SheaMoisture brand globally in Canada, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Australia.
Eden has a passion for serving the underserved consumer and working on brands with purpose. Eden also has prior strategy experience at Samsung and served as an analytics consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Outside of work, Eden enjoys traveling and cooking new recipes. Eden’s family is originally from Eritrea, but she was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Eden holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s in Operations Research from MIT.
