Bethany Eppner is a transformational global executive renowned for blending creative strategy with operational rigor to build impactful, high-performing teams. She was recently named Vice President, Head of Global Business Marketing at Fandom, where she oversees Client Strategy, Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy, Sales Research & Insights, Brand Design and B2B Marketing.

Before joining Fandom, Bethany was the GTM Lead, Emerging Products at Amazon, where she created innovative narratives and positioning to garner attention in the marketplace. Prior to that, Bethany built and led the Global Advertising Solutions team at Spotify, generating over $200 million in annual incremental revenue, increasing average deal size by 495%, and leading the global launch and monetization of Spotify’s first-to-marketLive Events, securing over $20 million in incremental revenue in its pilot year.

Bethany’s first role at Spotify was as the Director, The Podcast Boutique, where she managed monetization, GTM strategy, and talent relationships for Spotify’s top talent-led podcasts, including those by President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as iconic titles like Call Her Daddy, Armchair Expert, and Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain.

Prior to Spotify, Bethany served as Vice President, Integrated Marketing at CBS, where she led the branded content and B2B marketing teams. She reimagined the CBS Television Distribution Upfront with an industry-leading GTM strategy that contributed to a 40% revenue increase. At Time Warner, as Director of Creative Development, she developed innovative, award-winning programs for brands, executed across the company’s extensive media portfolio. Bethany began her career in consumer agencies, creating breakthrough activations for household brands.

Bethany holds a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and serves on the Executive Advisory Board of Lesbians Who Tech and the board of Westport Pride. Recognized as an influencer in the industry, she was honored as one of Fast Company’s Queer 50 in 2023.
