- Shaq-A-LiciousXL Gummies candy brand is partnering with 7-Eleven to bring a limited-edition sour pineapple-flavored Slurpee, for the spring season.
- The flavor is inspired by a fan-favorite flavor of the candy line, which was only introduced last September. It will be available at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes convenience stores from March 18 through April 29.
- Additionally, the products will be sold as part of a special promotion at the stores through which customers buying any size Slurpee drink, including the new sour pineapple flavor, will be able to purchase a 6.2-ounce bag of the Shaq-A-Licious Gummies for $2.
The Hershey Company introduced the Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies last September as part of a partnership with the former NBA star. Playing off Shaq’s self-described persona as “the biggest kid in the candy store,” the candies are intentionally larger than traditional gummy candies.
The oversized gummy candies come in two varieties: Original, in shapes of Shaq’s face and in flavors of peach, berry punch and orange; and Sour, in shapes inspired by Shaq’s nicknames (Diesel, The Big Cactus and The Big Shamrock) and flavors of pineapple, mixed berry and watermelon.
