Samsung makes its case with core values campaign

  • Samsung Electronics is looking to set itself apart from competitors with a global campaign that outlines four core values that answer the question “Why Samsung?”. 
  • The global campaign has begun rolling out across Samsung’s digital platforms, including Samsung.com, YouTube and the brand’s social media channels and will eventually reach 50 countries. 
  • The campaign includes a nearly two-minute video highlighting the core values of Bespoke AI, SmartThings, Security and Reliability. The spot depicts how the AI tools adapt to users’ everyday needs, while the SmartThings technology works to fit into their daily lives to save energy. The spot also showcases the brand’s Knox security system that secures users’ data, privacy and reliability through its Home Remote Management Service, which provides up to seven years of user interface upgrades. 

The campaign is focused on positioning Samsung as the ideal option for consumers because of its interface. 

In addition to the hero video, Samsung will create four separate videos featuring interviews with company executives that delve deeper into each of the topics. 

“The ‘Why Samsung’ campaign brings together what truly defines Samsung appliances – innovative Bespoke AI, seamless SmartThings connectivity, trusted Knox security, and lasting reliability,” said Jessie Song, vice president and head of marketing group, digital appliances (DA) business, Samsung Electronics, in a statement. “Moving forward, we will continue to deliver compelling messages to consumers worldwide about why they should choose Samsung appliances.”
