- Pizza Hut is teaming up with Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak on a new campaign to promote the QSR’s new Craft Flatzz pizza.
- In a new spot for the Adultzz Only brand platform, .Paak plays two roles: a therapist aka Dr. .Paak, PHD (Pizza Hut Degree) and DJ PeeWee, a patient that didn’t have enough pizza parties as a child.
- The campaign includes a sweepstakes in which fans can enter to earn a PHD, aka a Pizza Hut Degree, and free Craft Flatzz by DM’ing “PHD” to @pizzahut on Instagram.
The new partnership extends Pizza Hut’s Adultzz Only platform, which the company launched earlier this summer, to promote the company’s Crafted Flatzz menu item.
The new product is positioned as a treat for adults and includes more mature flavors including Nashville Hot Chicken and Chicken Bacon Ranch.
“We want to sustain momentum for Crafted Flatzz by keeping the product relevant and exciting beyond its initial launch,” said Roy Torres, global creative director for Pizza Hut. “Partnering with Anderson .Paak allows us to add personality, energy, and cultural cachet, while giving fans a fun way to engage with us. This isn’t just about talking about the product — it’s about creating an interactive, shareable experience that extends the ‘Adultzz Only’ platform and reinforces why Crafted Flatzz are Pizza Hut’s boldest new menu innovation. By offering fans the chance to earn their own ‘PHD’ and unlock a free Crafted Flatzz, we’re driving trial, conversation, and social buzz in a way that feels playful and authentic.”
