Pizza Hut drops Adultzz Only campaign to push LTO Crafted Flatzz

  • Pizza Hut has introduced a new line of crispy personal pizzas called Crafted Flatzz, and has kicked off the new “Adultzz Only” campaign to promote the new line.
  • Rolling out across 20+ countries, flavors include: Pesto Veggie with Balsamic Drizzle in the U.K., Korean BBQ in Taiwan and Tandoori Chicken in India and Nashville Hot Chicken and Chicken Bacon Ranch in the U.S.
  • Created in partnership with Deutsch, the campaign pushes the new flatbread pizzas as an opportunity for adults to savor during “me time”. The campaign is targeted at millennials and also promotes the $5 until 5pm price point and will run across 20+ countries.

Pizza Hut is looking to product innovation to expand its audience to adults versus families by promoting their new product as a time to indulge in a range of elevated flavors.

The effort also focuses on a price and value at a time when many consumers are watching their wallets. This follows a trend among QSRs including McDonald’s, Taco Bell and Little Caesars that are shifting their focus to value offerings.
