- Omnicom has closed its $13.5 billion acquisition of Interpublic Group and has released its new executive leadership for the combined organization.
- The company has named the new leadership and restructuring including: Florian Adamski, CEO, Omnicom Media; Chris Foster, CEO, Omnicom Public Relations; Sergio Lopez, CEO, Omnicom Production; Duncan Painter, CEO, Omni and Flywheel Commerce Network; Troy Ruhanen, CEO, Omnicom Advertising; Mark O’Brien, CEO, Omnicom Branding; Luke Taylor, CEO, Omnicom Precision Marketing.
- As part of the restructuring, the holding company expects to eliminate around 4,000 positions. Additionally, the company will retire the agencies FCB, DDB and MullenLowe.
The newly emerged Omnicom is positioning itself as a leader in “creativity and effectiveness” that brings both “award-winning talent” and AI expertise.
The new Omnicom is promoting Omni – an advanced intelligence platform, along with its media network powered by Acxiom RealID, among other things.Omnicom is taking this newly formed company to market at CES in January, where the company will have a large presence.
