Jenna Bromberg is leaving her post as vice president of brand & creative at Carters and heading for Papa Johns as the QSR company’s new chief marketing officer. Her new role begins November 14th.
In her new role, she will oversee the company’s marketing strategy, brand development, digital customer experience and creative initiatives. She will also be tasked with identifying new audiences and overseeing the brand’s data-driven product innovation.
“I am eager to join Papa Johns at such an exciting time in the company’s journey,” said Bromberg, in a statement. “The pizza industry has always been close to my heart, and I’m energized by the opportunity to combine my consumer retail experience with my restaurant industry background to create compelling, innovative marketing strategies that will connect with our customers as well as bring new consumers to the brand.”
Bromberg spent the last 4+ years at Carters where she oversaw the company’s brands, created the first-ever Chief Mom Officer and built a large social presence. “Through it all, they’ve taught me so much; bringing such heart, courage and passion to their work every day,” she wrote in a LinkedIn post. “I reflect on my time here with such pride and gratitude. Thank you to this incredible marketing team, our agencies and my business partners for this transformative experience.”
Prior to working at Carter’s, Bromberg held marketing roles for Pizza Hut, Hilton and H&R Block. She replaces Mark Shambura, who recently left Papa Johns to become chief marketing officer of Panera Bread.
