Intuit taps Chobani, Google & Uber grad as CMO

Intuit has appointed Thomas Ranese as its new chief marketing officer. Ranese joins the financial services brand from Chobani.

In the new role, Ranese is tasked lead all aspects of marketing at the Intuit brand, including strategy, go-to-market plans, sponsorships, communications and corporate responsibility. 

“To realize the opportunity in front of us, we must continue to evolve our commercial strategy to go to market as a platform, embracing AI to better understand our customers, personalize their journeys, and optimize our campaigns,” wrote a company blog post announcing the news. “Intuit has hired Thomas Ranese as Chief Marketing Officer to help us achieve these ambitions.”

Prior to Chobani, Ranese was global chief marketing officer at Uber and he spent more than nine years at Google.
