Keurig Dr. Pepper taps Drew Panayiotou as CMO

Keurig Dr Pepper has tapped Drew Panayiotou as its new chief marketing officer, U.S. Refreshment Beverages. 

Panayiotou comes to Keurig from Pfizer where he served as global CMO. In his new role at Keurig Dr Pepper, Panayiotou will lead marketing for the company’s $9 billion portfolio of cold beverages, which includes: Dr Pepper, Canada Dry, Mott’s, A&W, Snapple, 7UP and Core Hydration. He will also oversee the company’s marketing centers of excellence, including insights & analytics, media & public relations, marketing innovation, creative services and category management.

Andrew Springate, who currently serves as CMO for U.S. Refreshment Beverages, is being appointed to a new role leading industry and strategic initiatives, reporting directly to Tim Cofer, Chief Executive Officer at KDP. 

Prior to his role at Pfizer, Panayiotou held senior marketing roles at Verily/Google Life Sciences, BBDO-ATL, Best Buy, the Walt Disney Company and The Coca-Cola Company.
