Melissa Grady Dias, former chief marketing officer (CMO) of Cadillac, has been named chief executive officer (CEO) of Measured Wellness, a personalized healthcare and wearables company.
“I have spent 25 years building brands that people trust – Cadillac, MetLife, Motorola, Jaguar Land Rover. I have launched vehicles, campaigns, and movements. I have been proud of all of it,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “But I have never had a job where the work makes someone healthier. Until now.”
In her new role, Grady Dias is tasked with building brand awareness around the Measured Wellness platform. “It is how we make healthcare genuinely personal, driven by both technology and the humans who know you best,” she continued in the post. “I am here to make sure the world knows about it.”
The path from CMO to president or CEO has been a move many brands have been making in recent months. e.l.f. Beauty recently promoted longtime CMO Kory Marchisotto to president of e.l.f. Brands. eos Products’ Soyoung Kang was promoted from chief marketing and innovation officer to president of the personal care brand last fall. Sol de Janeiro’s chief marketing and digital officer Jordan Saxemard was recently promoted to CEO.
