- Little Caesars has dropped a new NFL campaign that takes on the QSR “value wars” using a new mascot: the Deal Deer.
- In the ad, Little Caesars positions itself as the brand with “The Real Deal,” a deer that crashes into scenes to alert fans of the latest food deals. 49ers tight end George Kittle literally rides the Deal Deer through a living room window to promote the new Pizza!Pizza! Deal.
- Little Caesars is also bringing back its Pizza!Pizza! pregame challenges in its app on September 4, where fans can win prizes and get deals on food orders.
Little Caesars is kicking off its fourth year as the NFL’s Official Pizza Sponsor with a new campaign that highlights the brand’s NFL season deals. For instance, fans can get two large 1-topping pizzas for $4.99 each online.
“We have leaned even further into the partnership this year with a campaign that is going to extend the entire season that is all about how Little Caesars is the real deal,” Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars, told Brand Innovators. “We are going to highlight our incredible value that’s unmatched. For the first-time ever, we have a campaign that features a character called Deal Deer. He’s a really fun and unexpected mascot who is going to crash into football moments and help fans make the right choice to choose Little Caesars.”
Little Caesars is also partnering with select NFL teams to feature specialized branding and in-game activations in their local markets throughout the season. Participating teams include: Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers.
