- Skincare brand Supergoop! has appointed Lauren Weinberg as its new chief marketing officer, overseeing brand communications, social and growth marketing, product innovation, creative consumer insight, strategic partnerships and general communications.
- Ms. Weinberg was most recently chief marketing officer at Peloton. She has also held senior leadership roles at Square, Yahoo, MTV, AOL, Nielsen and comScore.
- In making the announcement, Supergoop! CEO Melis del Rey said Ms. Weinberg is a “world-class marketing leader with a rare ability to balance creativity, performance and operational rigor.”
“I’ve been a loyal Supergoop! user for years, so this role feels personal,” said Weinberg, in a statement. “The brand has done something extraordinary – it’s made daily SPF something people actually want to use, and that’s not a small thing when sunscreen is one of the most effective ways to prevent skin cancer.”
At Peloton, Ms. Weinberg led global and brand initiatives that helped sharpen strategy, improve efficiency and drive business impact through a pivotal period for the company. Prior to Peloton, Ms. Weinberg was chief marketing and communications officer at Square, launching the company’s first global brand campaign as it expanded into international markets.
