- Home Depot has launched a new World Cup campaign featuring soccer icon David Beckham.
- As part of the effort, the home building retailer has introduced the FIFA Sweepstakes – a chance to win a trip for two to the FIFA World Cup Final in New York, as well as a $10K Home Depot gift card for a backyard makeover.
- The campaign also includes Fan Pop-Ups including “Beckham’s Backyard” with interactive soccer programming and home improvement demos at FIFA Fan Festivals, as well as soccer-themed Kid Workshops in store. Customers can also receive an Official FIFA World Cup Adidas scarf with purchase in-store or online.
Home Depot is the Official Home Improvement Retailer of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and are using this position to reach sports fans and encourage them to improve their viewing experiences through DIY home projects.
The Beckham’s Backyard element of this campaign includes home improvement ideas and demos for fans at stores and in pop-ups connecting the brand to the sporting moment.
