What attracted you to Brand Innovators?

What I like most about Brand Innovators is that it is a brand-led, community-focused organization vs. simply an events company or networking platform. At its core, it starts with the people – both in terms of the BI team, but also the quality of the network Brandon and Marc have built over the past decade. What I also like is that Brand Innovators has built a platform that can help us showcase emerging talent as well as expanding into cross functional forums like HR. Great example of how BI is thinking about both brand building and talent development holistically.

What are you most excited to contribute to Brand Innovators and its community?

In addition to being able to represent PepsiCo and our amazing portfolio of brands, I am excited to provide a more global perspective to the BI team. I have spent almost half of my 25+ years in Marketing working outside the US and I believe there is some much we can learn from other countries, markets, and businesses. I also believe that I can help the BI team as they look to expand their footprint even broader outside of the US. Together, we can expand the community and impact more marketers from around the world.

What are you most excited to gain from Brand Innovators which can serve to benefit not only you but also your team at PepsiCo?

Having recently returned to the US from almost a decade living abroad, Brand Innovators provides a great platform from which I can reconnect with the industry in the US. Many of my friends and former colleagues are already members of the Advisory Board, and I look forward to working with them to help share the future of our industry.

Beyond the amazing community and network, I also see a big opportunity to partner with BI to inspire and elevate our marketing talent. BI events create opportunities to showcase talent and engage new partners as we evolve our marketing skills. It is important we continue to invest in our teams – leveraging both internal capabilities and external communities to inspire and elevate our marketing talent.
