KFC Global has named Amy Ellis Durini as global chief brand officer effective November 1.
In the newly created role, reporting directly to KFC’s global chief executive officer Scott Mezvinsky, Ellis Durini will lead KFC’s global brand strategy, overseeing brand, loyalty and retail, as well as new concept development and innovation.
She joins KFC from Taco Bell International, where she most recently served as chief marketing and strategy officer.
Ellis Durini’s appointment comes on the heels of news that global chief marketing officer Taylor Montgomery is leaving Taco Bell to join Jack in the Box as president.
Before joining Taco Bell in 2021, Ellis Durini spent eight years across KFC Global and Latin America & Caribbean. In the new role, she will also work with CMOs in local markets.
