Blake Aber is Senior Analyst in the Dstillery analytics group, which develops research and metrics that drive revenue growth for brands. His role combines strategic client engagements, new media analytics and performance measurement techniques across industry verticals. Prior to joining Dstillery last year, Blake spent four years at American Express, most recently in the Global Risk Oversight division. Earlier in his career Blake worked at both JP Morgan and Standard & Poor’s. Blake has an Master of Sciences in Computer Science from New York University and a BS in Applied Physics from Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Quinn Banks is Head of Mobile for the Digital Marketing Department at Farmers Insurance, overseeing mobile app development for customer facing apps and provides the mobile vision, governance and direction for the company. Quinn’s background spans multiple disciplines and markets, with expertise in app and game design and programming, software localization and development, strategic analysis and total immersion training programs. Prior to his current position he was the CEO and Co-founder of Tarver Games, a game/app developer that got its start creating game treatments and demos for movie studios and transitioned into mobile games and apps. US-based Kiwi, Claudia Batten, will openly admit she is digitally obsessed. From her roots in commercial law, she has been a founding member of two highly successful entrepreneurial ventures. As part of the founding team of Massive Incorporated, a network for advertising in video games, she helped pioneer “digital” as a media buy. Massive was sold to Microsoft in 2006, where Claudia then spent 3 years scaling the in-game network. In 2009 she co-founded Victors & Spoils, the first advertising agency built on the principles of crowdsourcing. After two years in market, V&S was majority acquired by French holding company Havas Worldwide. In 2014 Claudia cofounded Broadli with Ale Lariu and Mary Abraham to redefine how we use digital connectivity to power networking. He began his career at Millennial Media as VP of East and West Coast Sales. During his four years with Taco Bell, Chris has overseen the marketing strategy to bring Live Más to life. Ef Rodriguez is the Director of Global Social at HTC, a designer and manufacturer of connected devices. He is responsible for guiding global social strategy for the Taiwan-based company whose flagship device, the HTC One M8, was hailed as the “Best Android Phone” by the Wall Street Journal. Prior to HTC, Rodriguez worked at a number of the world’s most acclaimed advertising agencies. At Crispin Porter + Bogusky, he developed social ideas for American Express, Microsoft, and Domino’s. While living in Amsterdam, Rodriguez worked for Wieden+Kennedy as part of the teams for Heineken, Coca-Cola and Nike. Brenden Schaefer oversees marketing for PepsiCo’s IZZE and O.N.E. Coconut Water brands, based out of the company’s Emerging Brands office in Southern California. Jeff Skaggs began his digital media career in 1999 at Mark Cuban’s Broadcast.com, just as the company was being sold to Yahoo! In 2003, Skaggs joined the pioneering video portal, iFILM, who was then leading the user-generated video revolution. At iFILM, Skaggs was instrumental in building Sales & Sales Operations teams that grew ad revenue exponentially year-over-year, developed first-to-market branded video experiences, and directly contributed to MTV’s acquisition of the company in October 2005. In 2006, Skaggs joined one of the first-ever online video ad networks, Broadband Enterprises (BBE), as West Coast Director of Sales. While at BBE, Skaggs closed landmark deals with Honda to incorporate their digital advertising and actual vehicles into the wildly popular web series, Cube Fabulous and The Fantastic Two. After BBE, Skaggs was Director of Sales for appssavvy, where he successfully integrated entertainment, automotive, and CPG advertisers into the top Social Media apps/communities on Facebook. Starting in February 2011, Skaggs led the West Coast Sales team for Evolve Media’s CraveOnline. At CraveOnline, Skaggs managed a team of Ad Sales Executives and spearheaded advertising partnerships with key West Coast clients. Under Skaggs’s leadership, CraveOnline enhanced its position as the top online publisher in the male lifestyle category and was recognized for award- winning campaigns with Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, and EA. In May 2014, Skaggs became RVP, West Coast at Fullscreen, the leading media company for the Connected Generation offering premium content, technology and advertising solutions for the world’s finest brands and agencies.
Marc Sternberg is co-founder of Brand Innovators, a leading producer of conferences for the advertising and emerging technology industries. From 2007-2011 he was president and COO of AlwaysOn, annually producing more than 20 successful conferences in the digital media, clean technology and cloud computing sectors. From 1989-2007 Marc was the vice president of advertising sales for The Hollywood Reporter.
