Success Story — Miller Lite: Rediscovering Our Authenticity

Lisa Rudman, Marketing Manager, Innovations & Incubation Brands, MillerCoors

As the Lite beer that invented light beer, Miller Lite pioneered what is now the largest segment of beer in the America. However, over the years, the brand lost its way and sales had steadily been in decline since 2007. That was until Jan 2014 when a limited edition original can was offered. This can told consumers the story of this Fine Pilsner Beer while featuring the authentic design from when the brand first launched. The package was so successful that over the course of the year, Miller Lite rediscovered itself and transitioned all aspects of the brand back to its timeless design, and focused on storytelling and quality. Hear about the journey that Miller Lite went on to reconnect with itself and its consumers. #itsmillertime
