Theodora (Theo) Berenson is Director of Marketing and Sales at Parsec Media where she leads the company’s Independent Agency Team. Prior to launching Brand Innovators, Brandon held marketing and business development positions in the executive search sector where he forged relationships with some of the most influential brand marketers, technology developers and venture capitalists in our industry. Patrick Cassidy leads global digital brand marketing and social media content strategy for New Balance. Since assuming responsibility for the company’s primary social platforms nearly two years ago, the brand has seen significant gains, with increases in the past year of Facebook +117%, Twitter: +260% and Instagram: +6,000%. Patrick deploys New Balance’s image across the U.S. and international markets. He is the core leader for NewBalance.com, ensuring that its U.S. presence and that of 40 international sites aligns with brand feel and content creation capabilities. Patrick collaborates with the brand’s digital and creative agencies and leads the search process for new region-specific agencies in global markets. At News Corp, Scott serves as the SVP of Sales and is currently spearheading the go-to-market strategy for News IQ, which is the first solution that leverages all of News Corp’s first party data, social listening technologies and premium inventory as one unified marketing solution that is both scalable and guaranteed to be brand safe.
Scott brings 17+ years of experience building industry leading marketing solutions that equally benefit both the brand marketer and consumer. Prior to joining News Corp, he has built businesses within both venture-backed start-ups and some of the largest e-commerce and digital media organizations, including PayPal, eBay, Drizly, WHERE and Time Warner. Scott is a Penn State graduate, an active speaker at various industry events and a firm believer in the words of Walt Disney, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible!”
James Lunt is the Sales Lead for the New England & Mid-Atlantic regions at GroundTruth, a location-based marketing platform that focuses on driving real-world results. With 5+ years of digital experience, James has worked to develop strategic initiatives with a wide gamut of clients, ranging from politics & advocacy to restaurants & retail. In addition to his digital marketing career, James also serves on the board of The Valpo Surf Project, a youth outreach non-profit based in South America.
Mike heads up East Coast Partnerships at Imgur, the world’s largest community powered entertainment site with over 250M UVs. Over the past decade, his career in digital has focused on emerging trends — video, direct-to-consumer, and community driven platforms — working across companies of various size and state including Tremor Video, AOL, and Maker Studios/The Walt Disney Company.
John is currently the VP of National Ad Sales at Minute Media, one of the fastest growing media publishers globally. The Minute Media portfolio includes – 90min, 12up, DBLTAP, The Duel & Mental Floss. At Minute Media, John oversees a team responsible for brand partnership sales across the portfolio.
Prior to Minute Media, John worked at ESPN, EA Sports, Bleacher Report & Turner Sports.

Andrew Rosen is the VP of Sales and Agency Development at Nativo, theworld’s most advanced content technology company. His fourteen years in the industry have spanned legacy internet giants (Yahoo!), successful and innovative ad tech companies (Quigo,Interclick), and major media outlets (Huffington Post, Conde Nast), giving him a unique perspective on both mass media and emerging technologies. Youplus CEO Shaukat Shamim was an early member of the core Yahoo! team, where he led the creation of the iconic Yahoo! Messenger platform. As the Founder and CEO of Buysight, he developed one of the first online data remarketing and real-time brand advertising platforms, acquired by AOL in 2012. An early innovator in the video ad network space, Shaukat also founded Rhythm NewMedia, a mobile advertising company acquired by Blinkx in 2013, with the combined entities taken public. Youplus is Shaukat’s 6th venture—the previous five now account for billions in total revenue at some of the iconic technology and media companies globally.
Suzanne Spence, formerly the head of brand partnerships at literary tech start-up Wattpad, leads MOFLIM North America as President. Before joining Wattpad, where she oversaw branded content for clients such as Coca-Cola, H&M and AT&T, in January 2016, Spence spent nearly a decade at Google in various roles including leading the tech giant’s YouTube teams and the global mobile-app-publisher product strategy.
A keen industry speaker, Spence has been on leadership platforms for Google including Mobile Publishers Summit and Think B2B, as well as speaking at NY Social Media Week and The Future of Advertising Summit. A dedicated mentor and champion for diversity, she is a member of She Runs It and is proud to be part of the dynamic female leadership team at MOFILM.
Marc Sternberg is CEO of Rising Tide Media, a leading producer of conferences for the advertising and emerging technology industries. Marc was president and COO of AlwaysOn, from 2007-2011, where he produced over 20 successful conferences in the digital media, clean technology and cloud computing sectors. Marc was the vice president of advertising sales for The Hollywood Reporter, from 1989-2007. Marc has served on the boards of numerous charitable and non-profit organizations, including Make-A-Wish Foundation of Los Angeles and the Anti-Defamation League/LA.
Always at the intersection of technology, Brands, Music & monetization, Peter is CRO, Head of Partnerships at Mammoth Media – the company redefining entertainment for the mobile-first generation. Previously, Peter was SVP, Head of Global Music & US Ad Sales at Shazam. And before that, he held various roles at Pandora, iHeartRadio & Entercom. He lives with his wife & 2 boys in Santa Monica.
Jessica is co-founder and president of gen.video, and a pioneer in social commerce with 15 years of experience spanning television production, digital media, influencer marketing and ecommerce. She is responsible for leading company strategy and overall product vision for gen.video’s data-driven influencer marketing platform built to help bridge the gap between social media and ecommerce. Jessica is passionate about helping brands and retailers authentically tell their stories through the power of video to better engage consumers and drive greater sales. Prior to joining gen.video, she held strategy and marketing roles at CourtTV (now TruTV).
Kim Stokes is Head of Digital at The Boston Beer Company where she oversees digital and social media strategy and execution across the brand portfolio including Samuel Adams, Angry Orchard, Twisted Tea and Truly Spiked Sparking Water. Kim has over 20 years of experience in public relations, advertising, direct marketing, and strategic consulting across a diverse range of industries including consumer packaged goods, technology and healthcare in both B2C and B2B. Kim has extensive experience in strategically applying digital and social media solutions to complex business challenges, from brand building to organizational design and data science. Prior to joining Boston Beer Company, Kim was Managing Director of Digital Engagement at Marina Maher Communications, an integrated communications agency under Omnicom, where her clients included P&G, J&J and Merck. Kim is from New York City, but also spent 7 years living in China. She is fluent in Chinese, is an outdoor sports lover, and has two little boys.
Jim Tobin is the founder and president of Carusele, the Influencer Content Targeting System. Jim and his team spun Carusele out of Ignite Social Media in 2015 and it now serves many of the nation’s leading brands, including Walgreens, Pepsi, Jared the Galleria of Jewelry and dozens more. In 2017, Carusele was named Small Agency of the Year in the Shorty Awards.
Jim also founded Ignite Social Media, the original social media agency, in 2007 and remains its Chief Executive Officer. With Jim at the helm, Ignite Social Media has designed and executed social media marketing programs for many of the world’s largest brands, including Microsoft, Samsung, Chrysler, Amazon, and Lenovo. In 2016, Ignite was named “Social Agency of the Year” worldwide in the Corporate Social Media Awards.
Jim is the author of two books, “Social Media is a Cocktail Party,” published in 2008 and “Earn It. Don’t Buy It.” published in 2013. He is a graduate of Duke University, where he began his career in marketing as the Blue Devil mascot. He also has a Masters in Communications from The American University. Jim lives in Raleigh with his wife and three daughters.
