Emily Brimmer oversees US marketing for global luxury accessories brand MCM. Emily joined the MCM team after her work with high profile companies including Michael Kors, C. Wonder and Saks Fifth Avenue. As MCM’s marketing lead in the US, she manages omni-channel marketing activities, including brand marketing, PR, advertising, and events. She works closely with MCM’s global team to ensure all marketing plans resonate strongly within the US market, as the brand strives to speak to the truly global, new-luxury consumer. Emily is a graduate of NYU and received an MFA from l’Ecole Supérieure des Arts et techniques de la Mode in Paris.
Lauren Chan is the Fashion Features Editor at Glamour, where she covers fashion news and trends for the magazine. She also contributes to Glamour.com and designs the monthly Glamour x Lane Bryant collection. Formerly, Chan was a plus- size model and contributor to Italian Vogue, where she covered plus-size fashion for Vogue.it. She’s also spent time in various departments at the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Interview, and Cosmopolitan. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Jennifer Goldstein is the executive beauty and health editor at Marie Claire and co-host of the award-winning beauty podcast Fat Mascara. She’s worked on staff as the beauty director of Prevention, the senior beauty and fashion editor at Health, and the beauty and fitness editor at CosmoGirl, and has written for Men’s Journal, Inked, InStyle, Fitness, Brides, nymag.com, jezebel.com, sephora.com, and others. Jenn has also appeared as a beauty expert on Good Morning America, Today!, Live with Kelly, and The Dr. Oz Show. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
Sarah Kirchner is the Sr. Director of Social Media for Kenneth Cole Productions, where she oversees all social media activity, digital partnerships, & brand innovation opportunities. Her passion lies in defining forward-thinking digital & social creative solutions that harness innovation, technology and digital platforms to drive business results. Previously, she was the Global Director of Digital & Social Media for Gap brand, overseeing all digital brand initiatives with the goal of strengthening the brand and delivering inspiring, engaging and rewarding consumer experiences. Prior to joining Gap, Sarah was at Digital and Social Media agency, MRY (formerly Mr. Youth), partnering with global brands like Visa, Crayola, Nestle, Chase, and Proctor and Gamble to develop their digital strategies and campaigns. Throughout her 11-year career in marketing, she has also worked at other top agencies such as Ogilvy, delivering integrated marketing solutions for Fortune 500 brands spanning a variety of verticals including CPG, Entertainment, Finance, Media, Technology, Retail, and Telecommunications.
Karen Robinovitz brings over 22 years of media experience to DBA. Having spent a decade as a journalist (The New York Times, WWD, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, amongst others), she comes from a content, story telling point of view. With three books, all published by imprints of Random House, under her belt as well as producing a television pilot for BRAVO and working as on-air talent on morning shows across the country, MTV, VH-1, and E!, Karen is an indispensible resource for both talent and the brands with whom DBA works. Always ahead of the cultural and communications movements, Karen consulted for brands like Estee Lauder Companies and Tiffany & Co., focusing on digital and content strategy long before the term “social media” was in our vernacular. Known for her huge thinking and forward ideation, campaigns she co-created for Coach received coveted social media awards. Upon the launch of Twitter, Forbes ranked Karen as one of the top twenty best branded women on Twitter. Karen was listed as one of Variety’s 80 Women of Power in 2016. She served on the Board of Directors of the Social Media Advertising Consortium (SMAC) and is currently on the Board of Advisors of the Brooklyn Museum. She lives in New York City, where she spends her free time exploring the art scene.
Alison Sebens is the EVP at Yumi Kim, a contemporary women’s brand based in NYC. She is leading the company’s growth with an emphasis on building the digital and wholesale presence of the brand. Alison has over ten years of experience in merchandising, buying, and ecommerce for women’s brands. Prior to Yumi Kim, she worked in the retail divisions at Elie Tahari and Armani Exchange. Alison holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from Wellesley College.
