Ilya Abyzov is the general manager for Uber’s operations in San Francisco. Prior to Uber, he was a product manager at Zynga, a fixed income analyst at HBK Capital Management, and an M&A analyst at Morgan Stanley. He received a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University. He enjoys film and comedy and is frequently frustrated with the Red Sox.
As CMO of Mighty Leaf Tea, Bliss Dake leads the company’s multichannel marketing strategy. He conceived and grew the ecommerce tea brand from the ground up into one of most popular online tea stores. Prior to joining Mighty Leaf, he was Director of Corporate Operations for LuxN, an optical networking company. Bliss has over 15 years of unique experience in management and business operations including, marketing, business development, corporate counsel, human resources and IT functions. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco.
Kris Duggan is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for building innovative, fast-growing SaaS companies with thousands of delighted customers. He is dedicated to helping brands on the web increase user engagement by leveraging proven techniques in social gaming and loyalty. A sought-after speaker on gamification, analytics and user engagement, Kris is a thought leader of innovative ways to incorporate game mechanics and social loyalty programs into web and mobile experiences. Lu’chen joined Glyde in 2011 to build and lead a marketing team in charge of acquisition, retention and brand awareness. Prior to Glyde, she led the strategy and execution of Walmart’s social platforms, with a focus on using social to connect a customer’s store visit and online experience. Before her transition into “marketing” she was a product manager obsessed with designing the optimal converting e-commerce experience.
Adam Grenier is the Director of Mobile Marketing for HotelTonight, the leading last minute hotel-booking app, where he leads user acquisition, mobile brand strategy and customer analytics. Adam has been involved in mobile strategy since targeting Java developers to build mobile games 8 years ago for Sun Microsystems. Since then he has been immersed in all facets of emerging and digital media, marketing and business development for companies ranging from brands like Sun, MSFT, JCPenney, Kraft and Budweiser, to startups such as Zoosk, TapSense and now HotelTonight. He is also an advisor for several early stage startups.

Jason joined Gilt Groupe in 2010 and has been leading their online, social, and mobile marketing efforts. Prior to Gilt, he was the VP of eCommerce of Redcats USA, a billion dollar retailer based in France, leading all US eCommerce efforts across its various titles. Jason also has an extensive background in CRM, as he lead Database Marketing for J.Crew, and implemented new CRM systems & programs for Martha Stewart Living post their IPO.
As CMO at Wildfire, a division of Google, Doug Laird leads the company’s global marketing strategy. With experiences spanning business intelligence, online trading, and compliance, Doug has helped several of the world’s most successful B2B and B2C technology companies define categories and establish market leadership. Prior to Wildfire, Doug was VP of Global Marketing at QlikTech, where he helped grow the company’s annual revenue run-rate from $80 million to $321 million. He oversaw marketing strategy and demand creation during the company’s 2010 IPO, which was one of the top three best performing technology IPOs of the past two years. Laird held roles at SAP/Virsa, Siebel Systems, and Oracle, where he helped increase database market share from 15 percent to 35 percent.
Alex Lopez is Brand Manager for Logitech’s Digital Home group. In this role, he leads efforts to drive the deep understanding of the target consumer by translating research into actionable marketing positioning of the Digital Home category. His work establishes brand consistency, globally, that ensures excellence in-market activation at the regional level. Alex joined Logitech from Copa Designs, a boutique creative agency, where he lead efforts on key clients such as Wells Fargo, Kia Motors and Coca-Cola, as Senior Creative Manager. Prior to Copa, Alex spent time working with start-ups in the Silicon Valley helping to establish brand identity and channel marketing strategies. Alex received a bachelors of science in international marketing from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
Scott McNealy co-founded Sun Microsystems, Inc. in 1982, serving as CEO and Board Chairman for over 22 years. During his tenure, Scott transformed Sun from a Silicon Valley start-up to a leading provider of network computing. In October 2011, Scott announced his next venture, Wayin. Wayin offers a fun, entertaining way for users and enterprise partners to post photos, ask questions, play live games, share results, and spark conversation amongst friends, consumers and people. In March 2004, he led Sun to create the Global Education & Learning Community. Now called Curriki, (“curriculum”+“wiki”), its mission is to eliminate the Education Divide. Curriki’s global online community creates quality materials that benefit teachers, parents and students.
In her role at Apollo Group, Jackie aims to revitalize the University of Phoenix brand by amplifying word-of-mouth and changing the conversation about online education. Jackie leads a team overseeing social publishing, community management/moderation, social media advertising, and brand advocacy campaigns. While at Apollo Group, Jackie previously ran Display Advertising, driving strategic partnerships with major digital media portals and capitalizing on emerging opportunities including DSP’s, dynamic ad serving, and Facebook ad management platforms. Prior to Apollo Group, Jackie was Product Marketing Manager at Wells Fargo leading positioning and go-to-market launch strategy for the Internet Services Group, and also lead Media Buying at digital marketing agency QuinStreet. Jackie holds a BA in human biology from Stanford University and an MBA from the U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business.
Shanan currently works on the YouTube devices marketing team where he has the arduous task of convincing people to watch more YouTube videos each day. Prior to YouTube, Shanan led brand and consumer marketing for Google TV. Shanan previously worked with Procter & Gamble’s Old Spice brand where he led the “Return of the Man Your Man Could Smell Like” campaign, as well as the Love at First Sniff campaign for Gain laundry. Shanan graduated from Claremont McKenna College serving in the US Army. After finishing active duty, Shanan returned to California for business school at USC where he quickly realized the true awesomeness that is the USC Trojan football team (watch out Stanford fans).
Rajiv Satyal markets comedy and comedifies marketing. (Don’t worry if that’s not a word.) He has branded himself as The Funny Indian – Your High-Brow, Fun-Size Comedian and describes himself as “the fun-size Indian comedian from Ohio whose witty, universal, and TV-clean act resonates with Middle America by covering everything from racial issues to soap bottles to his favorite topic – himself.” This former University of Cincinnati engineer and P&G marketer has repeatedly opened for Dave Chappelle, Tim Allen, Kevin Nealon, and also for Russell Peters in sold-out theaters across the U.S.A. He has been featured on national TV and radio, in The Wall Street Journal and LA Times, and regularly at all major comedy clubs in LA. Rajiv has also acted in funny commercials, written humorous ads, named his alma mater’s online radio station (“Bearcast”), managed a Miss India America’s career, and trained NFL players on how to think of themselves as brands.
Marc Sternberg is CEO of Rising Tide Media, a leading producer of conferences for the advertising and emerging technology industries. Marc was president and COO of AlwaysOn, from 2007-2011, where he produced over 20 successful conferences in the digital media, clean technology and cloud computing sectors. Marc was the vice president of advertising sales for The Hollywood Reporter, from 1989-2007. Marc has served on the boards of numerous charitable and non-profit organizations, including Make-A-Wish Foundation of Los Angeles and the Anti-Defamation League/LA.
Grace Tai is the Associate Marketing Manager for Armored AutoGroup, which owns the 50 year-old brands Armor All and STP. She has worked with the brand on creating memorable TV and online campaigns, such as 2011’s “Race to the Finish Sweepstakes” and 2012’s “What Life Did to My Car” campaign. With a passion to continue exploring new ways to build brands, she is also the founder of Mantrastyle, an e-commerce business selling customizable bamboo tech accessories (www.mantrastyle.com).
