Ryan Anderson is the Director of Marketing for Equinox, leading all acquisition marketing and channel planning activity including advertising, CRM, promotional and event marketing programs. Prior to Equinox, Ryan was the Director of Global Brand Management at Starwood responsible for brand strategy, innovation and customer experience. He cut his teeth at Ogilvy & Mather, developing award-winning campaigns for Unilever and Merck. Ryan works as a brand strategist for the Taproot Foundation and as a disaster relief responder for the American Red Cross. He is also a global advisory board member for Wharton’s Future of Advertising Project. Ryan received his BA in Cognitive Science from Northwestern and resides in NYC.
Tim Avila is the VP of product marketing for BrightRoll where he drives the development and execution of strategy for the BrightRoll Exchange (BRX) and is responsible for all elements of the BRX strategy relating to real time bidding, data provider partnerships, demand side platforms, mobile partnerships, and portal inventory partnerships. Most recently, he was the director of performance display at Yahoo! and led the product marketing efforts for the development of Yahoo!’s online video ad serving platform. As a former co-chair of the IAB Digital Video Committee, Tim helped launch the industry’s first video ad format and ad serving standards.
Bonin is responsible for leading all forms of connections with Kraft’s consumers, including leading and developing the partnerships, internal capabilities and strategies across all media. Prior to joining Kraft Foods, Bonin spent three and a half years at PepsiCo where he oversaw company-wide digital strategy and the implementation of social media tools across PepsiCo’s portfolio of food and beverage brands. Previous to his work with PepsiCo, Bonin was the executive vice president and director of Weber Shandwick’s global interactive, social and emerging media practice, leading a global team of over one hundred people. Prior to this, Bonin was a founding member and senior vice president at Ruder Finn Interactive.
James Byrne operates a NYC-based boutique marketing agency working with a handful of clients at a time. His 20-plus year work experience has included Procter & Gamble, The Coca-Cola Company, The Walt Disney Company, Carsey-Werner and World Wrestling Entertainment. In addition to HeadBlade, his firm, Glory of Commerce, represents highly burnished brands such as Sony Pictures Classic, Saatchi & Saatchi EMEA and Steven Harris Architects.
Jordan Corredera is Director and GM, Carnival Digital, the eCommerce and digital marketing arm for the world’s largest cruise line. Jordan joined Carnival in 2003, holding positions within the sales, operations and marketing groups before establishing the company’s first digital strategy team in 2007. An early advocate of social media and establishing corporate credibility online, Corredera championed the first insider blog and social media strategy in the cruise industry. Corredera currently leads Carnival’s online group whose focus is on all aspects of Carnival’s online presence including B2B, B2C, eCommerce, Mobile, Social Media, digital production and analytics.
Originating from a traditional marketing background, Marti started his career in Glasgow, Scotland working in marketing for a leisure/entertainment group. After moving to the digital side of the business he quickly learned his trade and then made the move to the fashion industry with AllSaints in London. Now based in the New York office, Marti looks after all the marketing channels from paid search to affiliates, SEO to mailer strategy, whilst working closely with the Press & Marketing teams in NYC & London on all initiatives. Marti’s passion for music can be found in the AllSaints Basement Sessions, a unique music project spawning from the basement of the AllSaints HQ which he’s worked on since day 1.
Bryon Evje has more than 12 years of media experience, with a career that includes posts ranging from journalism, content development, operations, product development, sales and business development. Bryon began his career as a sports writer in New York and later helped bring a host of professional sports teams online for the first time, including the Mets, Yankees, Bears and Broncos. Bryon helped pioneer one of the original online video incubation companies, Wavexpress, making IP-based video-on-demand a reality before it later became an industry-wide phenomenon. Most recently, Bryon was COO and later president for one of the web’s original online video networks, Broadband Enterprises. Bryon holds multiple patents and has fashioned a number of leading technology platforms, including the first-ever video-specific ad-serving, tracking and measurement platform and the original contextual video distribution system.
Michael Fischer oversees and directs the Coldwell Banker® brand’s consumer marketing, including advertising, online initiatives, market research, public relations, internal communications and regional marketing activities. Since joining Coldwell Banker, he has overseen the launch of the all-new coldwellbanker.com, which includes the integration of IDX listings and video, advanced search capabilities including keyword search, Bluescape search and lifestyle search, as well as the launch of an expanded web platform that includes mobile WAP sites and APPs, a video-enabled iPad app and the Brand’s Youtube Channel, Coldwell Banker On Location.
Nicole leads the eCommerce Growth Initiatives for Office Depot. She is responsible for creating future blueprints and marketing strategies for key growth initiatives within the eCommerce channel; delivering top-line and bottom-line improvement and significantly enhancing the customer experience. Prior to Growth Initiatives, Nicole was responsible for driving revenue and increasing qualified traffic to OfficeDepot.com, Office Depot family of sites and Office Depot Retail locations by overseeing marketing paid search, natural search, display, mobile, shopping comparison engines, affiliates and emerging media. Before joining Office Depot in 2010, Nicole served as Director of Online Marketing for BGT Partners and as Marketing Director for Southeast Realty Equities. She has also held sales management roles for Federated working for Burdine’s Department Store.

Jason joined Gilt Groupe in 2010 and has been leading their online, social, and mobile marketing efforts. Prior to Gilt, he was the VP of eCommerce of Redcats USA, a billion dollar retailer based in France, leading all US eCommerce efforts across its various titles. Jason also has an extensive background in CRM, as he lead Database Marketing for J.Crew, and implemented new CRM systems & programs for Martha Stewart Living post their IPO.
Derek joined MBUSA in 2008 after spending 3 years producing, directing and editing video content for the brand. In his current digital marketing role, he oversees creative, UX and technical development for mbusa.com, the mobile site and iPad site. An enthusiast of Agile Methodology, he is a certified scrum master and oversees all new development via Agile. Derek began his professional journey as a jazz musician, which brought him from Chicago New York. He received his B.A. from Columbia University with a concentration in film.
In his current role as SVP of Enterprise Sales for MediaMath, Karl is responsible for leading a team of Enterprise level salespeople and ad tech consultants to implement a SAAS solution for media planning and buying across all digital media channels (Display, Social, Mobile, Video. Prior to MediaMath, Karl led sales teams, served as a business unit GM, and held business development roles at Yahoo!, MTV Networks, and Alloy Media. He has developed marketing solutions and custom products across all media types (Broadcast, Print, Indoor/Outdoor, Digital, Mobile) while working with marketers like Procter and Gamble, Kraft, Pepsi, IBM, Ford, GM, and Verizon. Chris serves in an Advisory Board position with Social TV start up Wi-O. He is a graduate of The University of New Hampshire and majored in Business Administration and Marketing.
Gian Lombardi is the SVP of Eastern Sales at YuMe. Gian joined Yume from PointRoll, where he served as the VP of National Sales and managed a team of over 20 salespeople nationally, establishing PointRoll as the leading player in the rich media space. Prior to PointRoll, Gian held a variety of positions at DoubleClick, managing sales teams for DoubleClick’s email platform business, research business, DART for Advertisers business at its inception in 1998 and also as the first salesperson selling the DART for Publishers ad serving platform in 1997.Gian began his career in online advertising in 1995 in the New York sales office of Wired Magazine and the Hotwired website, the Internet’s first ad-supported website, and also worked at Firefly Networks.
Jon currently works out of the NYC office developing strategy for GE social media marketing efforts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social platforms. Prior to GE, Jon ran online operations for Eliot Cutler’s bid for Maine Governor ’10, and before that was a consultant at PSFK, a leading trends and innovation shop with a marketing blog read by 750,000+ monthly unique visitors. Jon began his career in China, where he spent five years as an analyst at China Risk Finance, a venture capital-backed credit card start-up, and co-founded NeochaEDGE, a leading niche creative agency.
Elliot currently serves as Vice President, Strategic Marketing at Columbia Records where he works on a variety of initiatives including building out music platforms for television & online; collaborating with brands on music related initiatives; evaluating early stage consumer and technology investments; and creating white papers quantifying the value of music. Previous to this role, he was a Brand Manager at Colgate-Palmolive on Max Fresh toothpaste and Speed Stick deodorant. Elliot graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Art History and received an MBA from MIT Sloan.
Liz Miersch is Editor-in-Chief of Q, Equinox’s editorial site. Q launched in 2011 and features fitness, nutrition, wellness, travel and style coverage. Liz oversees all content creation and spearheads the production of Equinox’s proprietary advertorial videos including the brand’s viral video, “The Contortionist,” nearing 3.5 million views on YouTube. Prior to Equinox, Liz was an editor at Self Magazine where she wrote and edited fitness content and acted as an on-air television personality for the brand. She is an ACE-certified personal trainer and newfound yoga enthusiast. Liz graduated with a degree in English and journalism from Loyola University in Maryland and currently lives in New York City.
Mason is a communications and business strategist with over 17 years of experience, spending 8 years in the digital/social space. From startups to a Fortune 20 company as the Social Strategist for Verizon Wireless, he’s a collaborator, digital strategist, writer and speaker who has sparked culture change, improved business communication and persuasively mandated business innovation. James Percelay is a writer / producer and best-selling humor book author. A former film producer of the commercial parodies at SNL, James was a TV development executive at Hearst Entertainment and a content creator for networks including ABC, MTV, HBO, and Warner Bros. Less than a year ago he created the viral video marketing agency, Thinkmodo, with fellow filmmaker, Michael Krivicka. He has branded himself as The Funny Indian – Your High-Brow, Fun-Size Comedian and describes himself as “the fun-size Indian comedian from Ohio whose witty, universal, and TV-clean act resonates with Middle America by covering everything from racial issues to soap bottles to his favorite topic – himself.” This former University of Cincinnati engineer and P&G marketer has repeatedly opened for Dave Chappelle, Tim Allen, Kevin Nealon, and also for Russell Peters in sold-out theaters across the U.S.A. He has been featured on national TV and radio, in The Wall Street Journal and LA Times, and regularly at all major comedy clubs in LA. Rajiv has also acted in funny commercials, written humorous ads, named his alma mater’s online radio station (“Bearcast”), managed a Miss India America’s career, and trained NFL players on how to think of themselves as brands.
Jonathan Stephen is the Head of Mobile with JetBlue Airways, bringing more than eight years of experience in the mobile industry. In his current role, Jonathan is responsible for driving JetBlue’s overall mobile strategy as well as maintaining and enhancing the products in JetBlue’s mobile ecosystem. Prior to his tenure with JetBlue, Jonathan was the Director of Global Industry Initiatives with the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), where he was responsible for coordinating the various committees of the organization as well as responsible for the MMA’s strategic initiatives, overseeing and publishing guidelines, best practices and educational tools for mobile media and marketing.
Marc Sternberg is CEO of Rising Tide Media, a leading producer of conferences for the advertising and emerging technology industries. Marc was president and COO of AlwaysOn, from 2007-2011, where he produced over 20 successful conferences in the digital media, clean technology and cloud computing sectors. Marc was the vice president of advertising sales for The Hollywood Reporter, from 1989-2007. Marc has served on the boards of numerous charitable and non-profit organizations, including Make-A-Wish Foundation of Los Angeles and the Anti-Defamation League/LA.
Gilad de Vries is Vice President, Brands and Agencies at Outbrain. Gilad brings over 19 years of experience in the digital media and technology worlds. Before joining Outbrain Gilad was VP of Digital Media and Principal at Carmel Ventures, one of Israel’s top tier venture capital firms, where he was highly engaged in Carmel’s investments in digital media, internet and mobile startups. Before Carmel, Gilad was a Senior Director of Marketing and Product Management at Comverse Technology, a leading provider of value added services for Telco Providers. Gilad holds a B.A. in economics and business management from Bar-Ilan University and a Global MBA cum laude from the IDC Herzelia.
Winston Wang is Global Director, Strategic Innovations for marketing technology at AB InBev with responsibility for exploring and experimenting with cutting-edge digital technologies from start-ups and innovators that are transforming consumer marketing. He brings an extensive background in innovation leadership, and mobile and media products and technologies; both at start-ups, and within global companies. From 2007-2010, he was the director of T-Mobile USA’s advanced R&D group that created next-generation product and service concepts. He was previously with Adobe Systems where he co-led the Mobile Authoring product management team. Before that, he held a variety of mobile user experience design leadership roles at Symbol Technologies, PalmSource, Good Technology, and startup Covigo for both consumer and enterprise mobile products.
